| Notes | ID: CONNAUGHT1997; This RICS sponsored research project attempted to evaluate the suitability of office buildings for meeting the needs of tenant organisations. Found that '$the amount of office space within the UK that will not meet modern specifications/client requirements by the end of the millennium will be significant, and is highlighted by the fact that as much as 15% of second hand office space in the UK may currently redundant'. $Concluded that if this trend persists$ 'there will be a danger that property will become less desirable against other forms of investment, its value base will become suspect and its worth to its owner or occupier diminished'. $$$ $$ |
