| Notes | ID: BON2001; A summary of 8 years surveying real estate or FM practices as seen by Chief Rear Estae Officers. Unfortunately the strength of many trends is hard to judge in the absence of statistical evaluation. The percentage of organisations developing teleworking policies has risen steadily from ca 20% in 1993 to ca 70% in 2000 (figures which may reflect a bias to more forward thinking companies). Desk sharing, on the other hand shows no such variation. For this reviewer the other significant fall, between 1995 and 1997 was a significant drop, to no more than neutral, in the agreement registered with the statement 'every organisation is in the real estate business as well. |
