Notes	ID: SUNDSTROM1986; A classic summary of the field as seen in the mid 80s. With the exception of Frank Duffy's original PhD research no other framework for comparing office environments and other organisational factors is mentioned. Despiter the world having moved on faster than Sundstrom anticipated in terms of IT and 'knowledge' the theoretical frameworks of today do not seem to have evolved. Likely to be of interest to researchers or those of a historical bent rather than practitioners but a good review of earlier work.
